DESCRIPTION

Two-sector culture diagnostic set for easy diagnosis of all important causative agents of mastitis.

Diagnostics is based on the basic three-sector MicroMast dish, so it also achieves the required high sensitivity of detection of pathogens even at low concentrations during the subclinical course of intramammary infection.

It is primarily intended for easy routine diagnosis, to confirm the current state of health of the mammary gland before dry-off with a highly accurate determination of the main pathogens of the mammary gland.

Red soil is used to diagnose G+ pathogens in particular. Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Corynebacterium spp., Streptococcus uberis, non aureus staphylococci (formerly CNS – coagulase negative staphylococci).

Pink soil serves 1. to diagnose G- pathogens (it is selective for G- bacteria),

                           2. to identify E. coli, Klebsiella spp., Serratia spp., Pseudomonas spp.

INCUBATION

at 37°C for 24 – 48 h.
